This course introduces the Synchrony application in Cygnet and explores how this modality can be used to support integration, stabilization, and more refined clinical outcomes.
Synchrony training focuses on promoting coordinated activity between two brain areas, encouraging key regions to regulate together in a more organized and coherent way. By supporting better communication, timing, and coordination within the nervous system, Synchrony may help strengthen functional networks involved in attention, emotional regulation, sensory processing, trauma recovery, and overall nervous system resilience. This makes it a valuable addition to ILF Neurofeedback, particularly when working with clients who need deeper integration after initial stabilization.
Participants will learn when and how to introduce Synchrony into the clinical process, how to select appropriate training placements, and how to understand client responses during and after training. The course will explore clinical indicators that suggest Synchrony may be beneficial, as well as situations where a more cautious or gradual approach may be needed. Special attention will be given to how Synchrony can complement ongoing ILF training, consolidate gains, and support clients who present with complex dysregulation patterns.
Through lecture, discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice, participants will become familiar with the practical use of Synchrony within Cygnet and learn how to integrate it into individualized treatment planning. Case examples and group discussion will help participants connect the theory to clinical decision-making, while hands-on experience will support confidence in applying the modality in practice.

Registration to this course ends two weeks before the first day of class. Upon registering you will be shipped the necessary materials and equipment you will be using throughout the course.

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made more than two weeks before the course start date are eligible for a refund minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations made within the two weeks prior to the course start date are eligible for a refund minus 20% of the course fee.
